Graphic motif: Coordinate lattice
A precise cobalt grid with orange registration ticks that mark indexed points. It reads as a map graticule and as a database index at the same time, and is only ever used to point at real records.
Why this belongs to Bobby Directory
- •Cobalt is the colour of reference works, atlases and technical indexes, which is exactly what Bobby Directory is.
- •The existing Signal Orange energy is preserved as the indexing mark, so the mark and the approved logo stay at home.
- •The lattice motif turns coordinates and records into one visual idea: a place is a row, and a row has a position.
