Privacy notice
A working draft. In the current release there is no database, no account and no stored record, so there is nothing for the platform to keep.
What this release collects
Nothing that you type, paste or upload on this site is transmitted to a server, stored or logged by the application. JSON you provide to the importer is parsed inside your browser tab and then discarded.
The contact form does not deliver a message because no email provider is connected.
What is deliberately not done
No remote address is fetched on your behalf. No image referenced in your data is downloaded. No pasted command is executed.
No advertising, profiling or cross site tracking is performed.
Personal data in imported records
A directory often contains personal data about other people. Where that is the case, the customer running the directory decides the purposes and means of that processing, and Bobby Directory acts on their instructions.
The formal description of those roles, and the contractual terms that go with them, are not settled and are not stated here.
Retention
Retention periods are not yet decided and are deliberately not stated. Publishing a duration before it is agreed and enforced would be a claim that could not be honoured.
Your rights
Where personal data is held about you by a directory published on this platform, requests should first be directed to the organisation that runs that directory.
Once the platform is operational, a route for escalating such a request will be published here.
