Features
Everything between a raw export and a directory you can stand behind
Bobby Directory is built around one idea: you should be able to see exactly what your data would become, and change your mind, before anything is created or published.
Import and mapping
Four input modes
Upload a file, paste JSON, name an endpoint, or paste a command as text.
Structure inspection
Record path, record count, field types, fill rates and sample values.
Readable names
Technical keys are proposed as readable labels that you confirm.
Suitability report
A score, the unresolved keys and the decisions that are still open.
Reusable templates
A confirmed mapping can be applied to the next export of the same shape.
Directory management
Typed properties
Profiles are described by typed properties rather than a fixed schema.
Categories and relationships
References between records are kept and resolved explicitly.
Moderation queue
Every proposed change is reviewed before it becomes public.
Publication control
Profiles are published individually, never in bulk by accident.
Media records
Images are referenced and reviewed. They are never fetched automatically.
People and access
Profile Studio
A separate surface for invited profile collaborators.
Scoped invitations
Access is limited to one profile, with an optional expiry.
Least privilege roles
Five profile roles, ten workspace roles, five platform roles.
Activity history
Who did what, when, from which surface, and what changed.
Verification contact
A dedicated role that can answer verification without reading documents.
Read how the importer treats an unknown file, or open the Profile Studio preview.
